Your Gift is Tax-Deductible


The Foundation is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization. Although completely separate from the Ocean Beach schools, the Foundation works hand-in-hand with the district to help students succeed.

Ways to Contribute

Cash. Donations can be designated for immediate use or to increase the investment base.

Corporate Gifts. Businesses can give directly or can match contributions.

Gifts. Tangible items such as jewelry and art for the annual dinner auction.

Wills. This could include money, real or personal property or a percentage of an estate. Bequests can specify use of the fund. Residuary bequests can be made with the balance of an estate.

Memorial. In honor of a deceased person.

Life Insurance. A policy can be signed over to the Foundation or policies can be written designating the Foundation as Beneficiary and owner.

Charitable Remainder Trust. An individual may donate an asset, take a tax deduction, and receive tax free income from the gift. Upon their death, the asset would be turned over to the Foundation.

Trust. A fund setting aside a portion of an estate to be managed by the Foundation or your trustees. Funds can become income for your beneficiaries and the Foundation.

Real Estate. Property can be donated.

Honor Gifts. Contributions can honor a friend, colleague or loved one and/or a special event.

Payroll Deduction. Contact the Foundation Treasurer for details.

Professional Services. Medical, dental, or cosmetic services, etc.
